im close. real close. am still working on my posing routine - currently nailing down the mandatories, but finding time when i have energy outside of the cardio and exercise is difficult. especially with all the other things i am working on.
a quick update - my conditioning is on point and i wanted to see how i would fill out for the show so yesterday i made it a carb load day - ended up eating 1,000 carbs in pancakces and a 16" large meat lovers pizza lol. thing is, sometimes when i avoid these things for a long time (as i have the past 3 months) i can tolerate them, but yesterday i really couldnt. i was eating and eating, but my dig symptoms came back - bloating , conspitation, the hives on my skin on and off, flushing, dizzyness, it was crazy. but damn it tatsed good! i was getting hungrier and hungrier all day as i kept eating. it put me in a euphoric state even though my dig tract was screaming. i know now that carbing up with pancakes or fat loading with pizza is not a good option for the show. i am going to try making my own granola with rolled oats, maple syryup, raisens, and brown rice flour, but primarily i will stick with white rice, which in the past 2 shows ive only used salt free rice cakes. im going to do it a bit different this time so i can fill out more.
my legs were all messed up today from training quads yesterday, and pain in knees, ankles, hips and lower back told me it was not smart to hit hams today. so i stuck with cardio, calves and abs this morning and am now getting ready to go hit shoulders and do another hour of cardio.
tom morn i plan on hiting hamstrings and tom evening i plan on doing biceps. cardio after both sessions. i got alot of weight to lose to get down to make middleweights.
i was 187 before the carb up - this morning i was 196. lol. a light heavy. WOW. my intuition is telling me that is going to slip off over the next three days and i should be lower than 187, around 185 and lose about a lb a day until the weigh ins and will have to restrict water early most likely to make weight, in which the class tops out at 176.25. its really funny that this is happening because every show ive done so far, which has only been 2 really, i have just barely made weight. my 1st, about 2 years ago at this point, i weighed in at 154.25 which is the top of the lighteights, god i had just made it. then this psat december i weighed in at 162 and the class topped at 165. i underestimated the water weight id be losing though and cut water early for that too. just 2 days before i was 167 in the morning and concerned lol.
alright guys ill keep u posted - i know everything is like all over the place - i am just getting started with this blogging. its format will develop over time.
